Tea Beer Ratios: Organic Shuixian Wulong 303 + Peach + Lager

The roasty character and natural mouthfeel of the Organic Shuixian Wulong 303 creates opportunities to enhance multiple fruit combinations.

FOR TESTING

4 oz lager, or other light/mild beer

1 gram of OCW004 Organic Shuixian 303 wulong tea

0.5 Tbsp Aseptic Fruit Puree peach puree

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine 4 oz lager (or other beer with light/mild character) with 1 gram Organic Shuixian 303 into a French press or similar container
  2. Place the beer + tea leaves in the refrigerator overnight
  3. Check the tea leaves periodically to make sure they remain submerged during this steeping process
  4. Strain off the infused beer, and stir in the puree

2.6 lbs Aseptic Fruit Puree peach puree

COMMENT

The roasted character of the organic shuixian wulong combines very nicely with the peach to create the effect of caramelized peach. This roasted peach flavor stands out especially well in lighter beers, or those with subtle grain notes.
